‘People that argue about tithe don’t pay it’ – Rev. Niyi Eboda, Senior Pastor, Harvest House Christian Center

REV. Gbeminiyi Eboda while preaching at the Metro Church on Sunday during church service made it known that those people who go online to argue about tithing, don’t actually pay it.

The Man Of God while speaking on a topic ‘Leveraging On Positions’ made it known some people have turned themselves to Co-debators and talk about tithing on social media.

‘The carnal man can’t understand things of spirit. Abraham paid tithe 400 years before Moses came and he was called the Friend of God. If you don’t pay your tithe, you will still go to heaven but won’t experience Heaven on Earth. The issue of tithing is more than what you just talk online. If you think Pastors are using your money to buy cars you might not be blessed. When Jesus was asked if it was good to pay tax,  they were asking for answer but wanted to test him, quoting 2 Timothy 2:23 (But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.) He added jokingly ‘Don’t pay your tithe, keep it!.’

Rev. Eboda ended the sermon saying to the congregation that they should listen to God and live by His (God) words. He added that If the Bible is clear about it, Don’t ask questions!.
